Paul Davies' work has always focused on the relationship constructed between the built and natural environments. His paintings portray the set of homes in leisured landscapes. The paintings appear to be real even though the inherit the elements of various locations. Davies's ability to create paintings from his own photographs create a sense of connection yet distance for the viewer.
